What's On Tap in Ballard

Citra IPA

ABV: 5.90% IBU: 50.00 SRM: 3.00
We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

German Style Pilsner

Imported German 2-row barley and Roy Farms ADHA 1940 hops give this German-style pils it's crisp, clean character.  Warning: this beer's subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

Mosaic Pale Ale

ABV: 5.30% IBU: 39.00 SRM: 5.00
A highly drinkable, hop forward beer with a classic American Pale Ale malt bill. Heavy handed Mosaic dry hopping gives this beer a nose packed full of citrus and mango. Up front aroma, balanced bittering and a moderate body just beg for another taste...and another...and another...

ABV: 5.00% IBU: 40.00 SRM: 12.00
Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Robust Porter

ABV: 6.20% IBU: 45.00 SRM: 31.00
Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

Bavarian Hefeweizen

ABV: 5.00% IBU: 13.00 SRM: 4.00
Close your eyes, take a sip of this beer and you’re sure to be transported to a tree-lined, sun-speckled biergarten in Munich. We honor tradition by brewing this beer using decoction mashing techniques and fermenting with a German yeast strain that imparts prominent banana and clove notes. The wheat gives this beer a crisp, slightly tart, refreshing finish. Mixtape Romeo

ABV: 5.00% IBU: 32.00 SRM: 3.00
In the entire history of humankind, there has never been a more profound expression of love than the personalized mixtape. Hours of deliberation about which songs to share from your home tape collection followed by hours of tiny handwritten playlists with tiny hearts incorporated wherever possible. Follow that with "play"-"record", change tape, "play"-"record" change tape............This beer is our mixtape for you. For this latest edition of our rotating dry hopped lager series, we first brewed the beer with pilsner malt for a light body and gentle malt sweetness. Then we lagered the beer for several weeks to create a clean, refreshing crispness. As our mixtape final song, we dry hopped with an experimental variety from New Zealand called NZ 102 for aromas of red fruit and citrus. Load it up, press play and enjoy.

Yakima Bound IPA

ABV: 6.80% IBU: 49.00 SRM: 4.00
We are always thinking about our hop friends in Yakima, but they are especially on our minds right now during harvest season. With one, maybe two trips a week to pick up fresh hops, we get to see their hard working, smiling faces and it's the highlight of late summer for us. Yakima Bound is filled with late additions of HBC 630, Citra and Amarillo for a grapefruit, stone fruit and orange pint of west coast goodness. Cheers to you, Yakima!

CATEGORIES: IPA, Northwest

Idaho Bound IPA

ABV: 6.90% IBU: 42.00 SRM: 4.00
Originating in our neighboring state of Idaho, Idaho 7 hops are powerful little packets of tropical fruit and pine goodness. Idaho is also the home state of our head brewer, Brad. Brad likes Idaho 7 hops. Coincidence?!...We think yes. Yes, it is pure coincidence. Doesn't make this NW style IPA any less delicious, though! Citra and Loral Cryo hops add more citrus and herbal notes.

Pint of Ambition IPA

ABV: 4.50% IBU: 39.00 SRM: 4.00
Tumble outta bed and stumble to the kitchen, pour yourself a Pint of Ambition and yawn and stretch and try to come to life. If you're working a 9 to 5 and need a reduced alcohol IPA to get those workaday juices flowing, this is the beer for you! (PSA: unless you work in the beer industry-yay us!-your boss would prefer that you wait until after work). Citra Cryo, Talus and Simcoe Cryo hops with all of their pine, citrus and stone fruit aromas are the perfect accompaniment to your career ambitions, big or small as they may be.

CATEGORIES: IPA, Northwest

Pistol Fingers IPA

ABV: 6.90% IBU: 75.00 SRM: 6.00
We love Mosaic Hops. We went all in and brewed a beer that uses three versions of them: 1) Traditional T90 hop pellets,  2) Cryo pellets, and 3) Pure resin CO2 extract. The result? A beer that screams signature Mosaic aromas with flavors of mango and citrus from start to finish!

CATEGORIES: IPA, Northwest

OverHOPensation IPA

ABV: 7.50% IBU: 64.00 SRM: 4.00
Chock full of Eclipse hops from Australia, this beer bursts with big flavors of fresh pine and zesty citrus held in check by Citra Cryo and another Australian favorite - Vic Secret. So you caught us. We're definitely overhopensating for something. Guilty as charged.

Chance Meetings IPA Collab for Latona Pub

ABV: 7.00% IBU: 36.00 SRM: 4.00
A collaboration between Stoup, Cloudburst, Dick Cantwell of Magnolia Brewing and Kevin Forhan of Flying Bike Brewery in honor of Latona Pub's 35th Anniversary.  This beer is dominated by Idaho 7 hops with their tropical, pungent pineapple and citrus flavors and HBC 586 known for a medley of characteristics like mango, guava, lychee and citrus-just like the motley crew that made this beer for their friends at The Latona!
