Welcome

We have plenty of options for everyone in our Ballard taproom. Our main bar flows out to ample, covered seating in front of a large garage door. We also have a spacious beer garden with fire-pit seating. Many of our outside areas have overhead heating. Kids and well behaved dogs are welcome in the main taproom, out front and in the beer garden. All seating is first-come/first serve with the exception of private events. Upstairs at Stoup is reserved for 21+ humans only.

A tart, limoncello spritz inspired refresher with just enough sweetness to balance it all out. It's lemon. It's effervescent. It's fun!

Sour Pop Strawberry Watermelon Sour

ABV: 5.40    IBU: 8.00    SRM: 3.00
Our rotating fruited sour series will showcase a variety of fruits in a tart and refreshing beer. We use Lachancea yeast, an exciting yeast that both produces lactic acid and ferments maltose, alongside our house ale yeast. This version is strawberry and watermelon!

Cervecita Mexican Lager

Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud!

Hyperpersonalized IPA

So we spent a good deal of time observing consumer habits and mining data from our social media platforms to understand EXACTLY what you want as a consumer. We even asked Alexa and Siri just to make sure and they totally agreed. It took a lot of time and effort and some really long, high level math equations, but we think we've got the PERFECT beer for YOU. What you want and need is a delicious Northwest IPA with flavors and aromas of citrus, pine and tropical fruit carried on a crisp, clean IPA. So here you go. Here's your Hyperpersonalized IPA, made just for you!

Please & Thank You IPA (Fall 2025)

ABV: 6.60    IBU: 66.00    SRM: 3.00
Why yes, I'd love a pint of the Please & Thank you IPA. This newest version of our rotating Hop Exploration Series is a West Coast Style IPA built on a base of 2-Row malt and a touch of wheat. In this version we're highlighting HQG#3 and Thora (HQG#4), varieties from the Hop Quality Group for aromas of red berry, peach and apricot. Additions of Citra and Mosaic add citrus tropical fruit notes. A balanced malt profile and a beautiful looking beer to boot? Yes, please! & thank you...because my mama raised me right.

German Style Pilsner

Imported German 2-row barley and Roy Farms Adeena hops give this German-style pils its crisp, clean character. Warning: this beer's subtle grain sweetness, spicy hop aroma and refreshingly dry, hop-forward finish may elicit a spontaneous Prost!

Schwarzbier

Thanks to a base of pilsner malt, Munich malt and a touch of dark, roasted malt, our take on the German black lager is a moderately dry lager with a mouthwatering roastiness. It's the perfect hybrid of malt flavor and lager crispness.

Mothership IPA

Stoup Mothership IPA is a tribute to our little engine that could, Stoup Brewing Ballard. To that end, we've built a beer on a base of 2-row and wheat malt to highlight and support some exciting hops and hop products. Mosaic Pale Ale

So we brew a batch of this beer, pack it with the brightest, berriest, peachiest, tropical fruitiest hops we can find, like Cryo POP!, El Dorado and Mosaic Cryo. And then we sit back, sip, and trip on down memory lane.

NW Red

Our Northwest Red Ale provides a distinctly Northwest hop character balanced with a restrained malt sweetness. We use 2 Row barley along with Best Maltz Red X to create a rich, red color and a smooth, satisfying taste. A hint of chocolate seals the deal.

Robust Porter
