Welcome to Upstairs at Stoup, an intimate extension of the taproom that can be reserved for your next private gathering. Upstairs at Stoup looks westward, with floor to ceiling windows and a deck over the existing beer garden, and can accommodate 40 seated or 60-70 standing. Hosts may select the four Stoup beers that will be on tap and outside catering is welcome. Any of our rotating food trucks are a great option [see a sampling of our truck line-up here] and we would be more than happy to put you in touch with them. We also have a selection of local hard cider, as well as a rotating selection of non-alcoholic options and snacks for any kids who are lucky enough to receive an invitation.

Are you a business looking for a fun, educational beer tasting opportunity for your employees and/or customers? Upstairs at Stoup is available in 2 hour blocks from 9am-4pm Monday – Friday. Are you looking for space to host a creative offsite, or corporate event? Upstairs at Stoup is fully outfitted for a meeting or presentation – please see our Peerspace site for flat-rate, unstaffed offsite events.

**We are also pleased to note that when not reserved for a private event, Upstairs at Stoup will be open to the public Wednesday* – Sunday for guests that are 21+ and without their 4-legged friends.**

Looking to host a private event with us at Stoup Brewing? Here's a few answers to questions we hear all the time:

1What does the Event Minimum Cover?
We price Upstairs at Stoup as an Event Minimum so that you can either choose to “Host” your event – you buy all the beer – or treat the Upstairs space just as you would the taproom, with each of your guests opening a tab, and paying as they go. The minimum includes the following:
-The Private Space
We have 4 taps Upstairs – you get to choose which delicious Stoup Brewing beers to have on draft for your event.
We have 3 rotating hard cider options Upstairs at Stoup in cans and bottles.
-Light Snacks and Non-Alcoholic options:
We carry a variety of chips, sodas, and juices, largely aimed at any kids who are lucky enough to get invited to your party.
-And of course the support of the Stoup Crew!
Upstairs at Stoup is always staffed by at least one of the Crew.
2What is the capacity of Upstairs at Stoup???
We have seating for 48 Upstairs as the room is usually configured, as well as 8 bar stools. For larger parties – we have hosted as many as 75+ in the winter – it’s plenty easy for us to pull out a couple of tables to make room for a large party to mingle and have a blast!
3Are kids and/or dogs allowed Upstairs at Stoup for private events?
While Upstairs at Stoup is 21+ Humans Only when open to the public, we encourage you to invite kids along for your party. Please leave the four-legged children at home however.
4Can we bring in outside food, or have our party at Upstairs at Stoup catered?
Absolutely! Most of our food trucks have catering options and we would be happy to put you in touch with your favorites. We also welcome other alternatives. Renters have done everything from bringing in a Salumi plate to supplementing the food truck, to ordering in pizzas, to a full catered spread.
5Beer and Cider is great, but my _______ only drinks wine....
We can totally pour wine for you! You’ll just need to procure a banquet permit from the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board and send the PDF to our event coordinator before your event. It costs $10, and only takes a couple of minutes to complete online. We cannot – however – pour mixed drinks or cocktails.
6Do you have discount pricing for Non-Profits?
We do! We love supporting the non-profit community at Stoup Brewing. Ask our event coordinator about the discount, and please have your organization’s 501(c)(3) information handy.
