Welcome!

We are family friendly (and friendly dog welcoming) brewery and beer hall at the corner of Broadway & Union. We are very excited to be a part of the diverse and vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood and look forward to getting to know our neighbors. We have plenty of beer on tap but also offer a variety of alternatives. Food trucks will continue to park with us every day for when you get hungry.

Citra IPA

We like to call this one Sunshine In a Glass ... or Sunshine In Your Belly because it won't stay in that glass long. Our Citra® IPA is designed to be light and bright in both color and body. Your first sniff will elicit images of tropical fruit and citrus thanks to a healthy dose of Citra® hops. Enjoy a pint of this and you might just find yourself gazing skyward, pondering how in the heck sunshine made its way into your glass.

Cervecita Mexican Lager

Our Mexican Lager is perfect for sunny days on the patio or the beach...preferably in flip flops. Since we can't guarantee sunny days in Seattle, we kept this lager light and bright and irresistibly crushable, sunshine not required. Salud!

Robust Porter

Rich in color and character, our robust porter conjures up memories of decadent chocolate treats dipped in coffee. Hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee and light malty sweetness are the result of a complex malt profile including chocolate malt, roasted wheat and roasted rye.

Mothership IPA

Stoup Mothership IPA is a tribute to our little engine that could, Stoup Brewing Ballard. To that end, we've built a beer on a base of 2-row and wheat malt to highlight and support some exciting hops and hop products. Whirlpool additions are Idaho 7 T90 and Mosaic Incognito, a flowable hop extract from John I. Haas. Dry Hop is a blend of HBC 586, HQG#3-an experimental hop from the Hop Quality Group, New Zealand Nectaron Cryo and Citra Spectrum-a flowable hop extract from BarthHaas. This beer is for those who want to immerse themselves in a full hop sensory experience.

Other Side of the Pillow IPA

This IPA is as cool as can be. Bittered with Warrior Resinate and dry hopped with Citra and Simcoe Cryo hops for a smooth floral and citrus aroma. Notes of passion fruit, pine and a little berry make an appearance. This combination of hops is delicious and refreshing and in the inimitable words of Sportscaster Stuart Scott, "as cool as the other side of the pillow".

You know the story. We're nostalgic for 90's Seattle when the sound of grunge music and the smells of patchouli filled the air. Sometimes we like to relive the good ole days while reveling in new trends like Hazy IPA. So we brew a batch of this beer, pack it with the brightest, citrusiest, peachiest, passion fruitiest hops we can find, like Citra, Mosaic and Galaxy. And then we sit back, sip and trip on down memory lane.

Cap Hill Magic Hazy IPA

For the first brew at our beautiful, new Capitol Hill brewery, we decided to give the Cap Hill people what they wanted. HAZY! We added Cryo POP! to the whirlpool for a burst of tropical aroma and flavors then gave even more tropical, melon and berry aromas with HBC 1019 and Mosaic Cryo in the dry hop. Cheers to many more beers brewed at Stoup Capitol Hill!

Live, Laugh, Lars Hazy Double IPA

Lars loves beer and Lars especially loves Double Hazy IPAs. Here you go, Lars! A beer named after you. Now please stop asking. ???????? This beer is a smooth operator, just like Lars. A grain bill of pilsner malt and unmalted wheat creates a deceptively smooth, but full bodied finish. Whirlpool hop additions are CryoPOP! with a touch of Centennial and dry hops are HBC 1019, Mosaic Cryo and Comet.

Equal Rights? Helles Yeah!

The women of Stoup brewed this fun take on a German Helles for our 2024 Pink Boots Collaboration Brew. We started with a traditional helles grain bill, and added whirlpool and dry hop additions of this year's PInk Boots Hop Blend from Yakima Chief Hops, a blend of HBC 638, El Dorado, Ahtanum and Idaho 7. A portion of sales will go to support the Pink Boots Society whose mission is "to assist, inspire and encourage women and non-binary individuals in the fermented/alcoholic beverage industry to advance their careers through education". We are proud to be a woman owned and woman powered brewery with nearly 50% women across the board. We're still on the hunt for equal representation and equal pay so let's raise a glass to Equal Rights! Helles Yeah!"

Parking

We don't have onsite parking, but there is 2- and 4-hour street parking around Stoup Brewing and several pay lots noted on the map. 
We are 4 blocks from the Capitol Hill Station of the Link Light Rail and 1 block from the Broadway and Pike Station of the First Hill Streetcar Line.
